Having worked in the Lloyd’s Insurance Market for over 25 years, Tim has a broad range of experience working with professionals at all levels and across the different front and back office disciplines. Gaining a law degree, Tim began his career at the Corporation of Lloyd’s in the regulatory division where he remained for 7 years. This role included over three years conducting on site reviews of Lloyd’s Managing Agents and syndicates. As regulation became more onerous for the market he was recruited by Venton U/A Ltd (now AIG Talbot) before moving to Hardy Underwriting Group as Compliance Director, which also included oversight of risk management and internal audit.

 

In over 12 years at Hardy Tim was involved in almost all aspects of the business as it grew from 20 to 150 staff, and internationally. In the final 4 years, he was responsible for business development, working with underwriters and brokers to expand the business offering.  Tim has extensive experience of the business planning process across the majority of classes and hands on knowledge of how the different business functions interact. At Callidus, Tim supports the Company Secretarial function by taking Board Minutes for a number of core clients and by taking on various ad-hoc projects either for Callidus itself or as may arise for other insurance clients.
